Big Is Beautiful II
This is a follow up article to my first "big" feature.
Did you know?
The average American woman weighs over 160 pounds and is a size 14?
The average American man weighs over 180 pounds?
People say it's unhealthy. Some people can't help their size. They work out, eat healthy, and still have curves similar to the ones you will see in a bit.
Don't assume things - I, for one, think all shapes and sizes are beautiful. But of course, being curvier and more voluptuous is not as accepted in today's society.
What we need to do is learn to embrace all body types, and see the beauty in all of us.
Below you will see artwork ranging from stamps, to photography, to drawings, expressing the harrowing issue of body types in our society today. No, I am not condoning being unhealthy. I am not encouraging being obese. What I do want to encourage, though, is for people to see beauty i
