Despite posting more photos than I have for a long time, I also haven't exactly been present lately. This account has been excellent for me over the past five years, it's where I got started, met a lot of awesome people and got inspired to take this modelling thing out of my cruddy bedroom and into the real world. Since then I've worked with several cool artists, tried life modelling, ran a life drawing class and even made some real, cold, hard, bona fide cash money from standing in front of a camera.
However, since then I have also noticed a massive difference in activity on and around my account. A few years ago I would routinely get dozens of comments and favourites on each photo. Now I'm lucky to get two or three favourites and even one single comment. I think a large part of this is that plus size models and the people who appreciate them have largely moved away from the, let's face it, quite fetish fuel driven deviantArt. I don't blame anyone for this, by the way, people's lives and circumstances change and I have other outlets for my work now. However, it doesn't seem as worth it to regularly maintain this page now that I don't get nearly as much feedback from doing so.
This is not a definite farewell, by the way. I will not close this page down or anything, but I wanted to explain why I don't consider this to be a priority anymore.
If you want to hang around with my stuff (and I sincerely hope you do - you guys have always been amazingly supportive and fun to talk to) you can do so from any of these places:
