Vision
Originality Technique ImpactI love lesmouches body! Such an interesting and dynamic mix of slightly overweight, compact, and just awesome to look at. It's not boring, is what I mean.
This pose shows strength, courage, and a fearlessness mosts models come to envy.
The lighting is fantastic with some great highlights, lowlights, and all that stuff in the middle. The texture on the sheets, his body, and the small imperfections that make human bodies...well...human...also make this such an interesting and dynamic photograph.
I think my favorite part of this photograph is that the head is cut off. He doesn't need a triumphant expression. You can feel his expression IN his body language. Just amazing.
